Your right huck, it does create a bit of interest...its been pointed out by a few shareholders!!! We of course think Essy will be in front of it by about 4 lengths :-)

Seems Vital struggles to do any more than first up wins at the moment, so it'll be hoping to break its hoodoo as well. Hope Gero doesn't turn in to a Kal for the day and have home town rules!!!

Vital A gets to keep the win first up this time, second up form shite and better joc on Essy.

Neither horse will beat Bernina Heights. Great run first up and second up form is good.

Carryign an extra 4kg and 2kg worse off against Vital A and couldn't get over top of her last time. Similar to Vital A, second up form not the best.

But those 2 and Ainia are the main opposition in my opinion. By the time the race comes along we'll know if there is track bias, which may play as big a part as anything.

Wouldn't be leaving Oradol out of it either.

Honestly If either don't win the interest for me is who finishes in front.
I've started building my wall fellas just in case I need to hide behind it to dodge the flak, but I think I'll just need it as a retaining wall. Stir Stir

Bernina would have a huge job ahead, drawn 9 with 60kg. It was a good run first up but Oradol has to be the one to beat in that race.
The query for me with Essayez is that last run. It was a shocker.
The run before has her winning this or alongside Oradol on form.
4 lengths from Hot goods then 1.75lens from older horses in Saturday (albeit weak) company.
Last run was just too bad however.

it was only a shocker in that the pace was red hot,
without studying i don't know, but if the pace is fast then generally backmarkers do fine, but in this race, all horses tended to be in the same possie about from go to whoa.

not to mention that the winner appears to be very very very smart!

Typed up my response on the way out the door to work....You know that funny thing some of us have to do Runyon!!!! ...Oradol was my first choice, then forgot about it when trusty threw up Bernina.

Original statement a few posts back was there are no easy kills and top 3 finish would be good. However I would expect her to win.

The last run she was gassed early. The pace was on from the get go and she had nothing at the end. Looked uglier than it was. No use riding a horse hard to finish 7th 4lengths off the leaders rather than 7th 8 lengths off of them

The first 1000m of this campaign was on heavy ground and not a lot of early speed. The second run the 1200m against older horses was full of merit. Nearly a 3 week break, freshened up, blinkers off...Settling in a good position up in the first 3 or 4, and coming home with a weight advantage against everyone except Oradol...

    Essy out

yep, was just coming on to say that the field was down to 10 and that should make it easier for someone.

Horse is fine, just a bit too scared to take on Vital Art on her home ground....

    :^o

Will update owners first them come on and explain the real reason.

Decided with the warmer weather and the truck trip, then standing in the stalls for xxxhrs that we'd learn more about the horse running her around close to home.

So nominated for Saturday and Sunday races. Decision on where she goes will be made later in the week.

Good luck to the Gero horses(was enjoying the banter), but I think the other raider Oradol will get the bickies, over Vital Art and Ainia

Hold onto your hats, there are a lot of races around at the moment she could go in....Lets see if they get through the whole card today.. if they get a race where more than  5 or 6 horses fan out and drive to the line, we may not have both those options available.

    Both appear good options atm

Well Essy is going to start tomorrow. Got a nice barrier and a good bit of weight relieve. Based on her run in the 1200m(2 tarts ago), where she just failed to finish off, we reckon the track and distance will suit her a lot better this run.

Great e/w price and I'm hopeful of her being in the mix at the end. Also being race 2, I think that means we will get a run...hahaha

Good luck to all the punters with a share of her and I hope those punters on PTT who are still holding the faith get a collect this time...If not I'll provide a list of the punters who you can direct your fury towards...hahahaha..She is certainly letting everyone who has been on board get a taste of what horse ownership is really about

She was a chance to be in the top 3. But she's in somewhere else. I jumped the gun with the post, due to yet another brain fade!!! I new she was a chance to be scratched, but stuffed up.
