I'm referring to the condition of the track Carey, not the horses who won. The track has been an issue since day one and punters are being treated like mugs when Perth Racing present a track that had 6 months off, in that condition.

Mind you, no one twists our collective arms to have a bet.

After the ball, you can make a case for every winner of every race in Australia today, so I don't have a problem at all with the horse who won or the runner up, and never do.

Your point about the standard of black type racing in WA is well put.

Although I'm sure that after his nice win, Darkhorse is a great fan of the standard of black type racing in WA.

I edited my comment to include "after his nice win" because I didn't want you to think that I was being sarcastic to you Darkhorse. I love it when people land a decent go at big odds.

It's a rarity nowadays because everything is so exposed.

I'm prepared to bet against Magic Artist on this track. Delicacy and Blackwood for me.

May as well chuck it out there, I reckon PR cant win. Don't think a slog home in late 37s is her cup of tea.

In the spirit of Christmas, anyone who is a general admission ticketholder of today’s race meeting will receive free entry to Perth Cup Day, to be now held on Saturday 2nd January 2016.

Simply retain today’s general admission ticket and present it to the Gate Attendants on Perth Cup Day for free entry.

Just looking now at the horses in the yard, and hardly anyone lining the fence to look at them and the sun is out.

You would see more at an ordinary Saturday meeting.

Possibly the weather, or the $35.00 kept them away, but putting the app on got you in for nothing.

Unless there is an age restriction preventing kids putting that app on their phone, then WATAB should be hauled before the relevant authorities and heavily fined for encouraging gambling.

Even if it is restricted, to make an offer like that, may have the effect of introducing people who don't gamble to gamble.

They don't have to bet on racing. They can become chronic gamblers betting on sports.

The Government should never have allowed this deal and offer to go ahead.

    responsible gambling my Tijuana Brass.

Just flicked through and seen the telecast on CH7 so I can't comment on the coverage but nonetheless it's great to see our local races being broadcast on free to air

Does anyone know if they deliberately avoid using the whip on Delicacy? I noticed in the SA Derby Hall didn't really use it to get her moving into the race. Surely if he uses it-and he has unlimited strikes at his disposal over the last 100m-she wins unless she resents it.
