How good is racing, I love punting haha. Backed Ima Connoisseur. If he can qualify for the inters (don't even know if he's nom'd) would make the racing interesting with his want to run along.
Torrreto should be racing in SA.

Very smart horse, who I thought was WAs next superstar. But **** me. THAT WAS AN IMPROVEMENT on his last few runs :-O
But Farrk me he improved 100 metres tonight
What a fucking ridiculous statement

As mentioned earlier by me be all over Walter James when he draws a gate.
Watching the replay I thought it was a great drive by Warwick on Ima Connoisseur to just allow him to be happy and run time rather than try and force him to do something he didn't want to do (wasn't thinking that live at the 400m mark!)
Conversely thought the tactics on Mighty Major were stubbornness at its worst. Blissful Boy is a perfect horse to sit on over a mile as he loves the trip and goes keenly. There was no likely breeze horse in the race other than him so you you're likely to get your crack at it come the straight. Hand up they both earn. Instead they hold up, go quicker than their capabilities and run to form. Gee whiz as punters we are definitely nuts, who is backing Mighty Major at $2???
I'm not going to be a sceptic, was great to see Beaudiene Boaz go well. Really Bettors Fire ran his race in the first 1065m, Boaz the last 1065m. I don't think there was much between the merit of either run. Bring on the Stratton Cup I say, Heez On Fire the sleeper in the race pouncing over the final 200m. Snapped up some 500/1 for the inters so we can dream, needs to climb those rankings.
Both quads were very gettable and paid very handsomely.
1.58.8 for the trotters!
Jnr drove well on the night, like that he is having a few more outside stable drives again.

Did have a very small eachway bet on Springsteen( $5 each way ) thought it was way down in grade - allways going to get the perfect run - plus the sprint trip
And i did stand it out in $2 trifectas with several horses for 3rd - including Mosquito Buzin - but i stood out Blissful Boy for 2nd - thought it would breeze and Springsteen would beat it in the straight - did note that BB broke gear - with Tajie Girl running 2nd - trifecta paid upwards of 3k - ouch
Playing the trifectas - just a couple of what i thought were bordering on shocking drives
Turvey ( who i think is a top line reinsman ) his drive on Sonic Classic - - who i stood out to run 2nd to the winner FF - he was directly behind it - he came out at the bell - i thought what are you doing - he flucked getting back in the running ( there was a bit of a kefuffle - so give him the benefit of the doubt ) - then before the Candy pole he hooks it out again - gets shoved 4 wide by FF ( presumably legally ) - normally 99% of the time NT would sit and follow up FF - ive got to be honest that was an appalling drive - just watch the replay - look like Nathe had the angry/impatient pills last night
