Payment to Racing Group

West Australian Racing
Anybody else hear RWWA are asking industry to support paying a hefty wage to a couple of the racing representatives out of distribution? Hear Michael Grant will be on an annual salary more than nearly all RWWA senior staff bar one or two for attending meetings and presenting government with reports and letters written by other people...

Not sure if I'm more upset at myself for not putting my hand up to take a role on the group in the first place or that such a huge amount of money is going to be taken from stakes/grants/jockey payment allocation... pretty sure there might be some at RWWA who might be a bit peeved too.

Its a big honey pot FC..I hadn't heard that but I am sure there are a few regular posters on here who would know for sure if there is any weight behind the info...Not sure they post about it however!!!

The only thing that RWWA staff would be upset about is that he has job surety with a contract whereas a lot of them are very very shaky!!

Hope you don't mind me referring to you as the overweight pussy but that exactly describes a fat cat.
My informant from RWWA confirms that because of his position on WAARG Grant or Ulysses as he prefers to be known.(WTF)was the better option than outside consultants because of his understanding of racing industries needs.Furthermore my friend tells me that RWWA CEO is so tight with funds distribution that Ulysses was the best option after considering the alternatives.
What are you saying Chubby Puss? You can represent the racing industry and save RWWA money.
Channel your energies to the present and focus.
Demand the Chairman produces the annual report as he's already four days late persuant to the rules of Perth Racing.
Trying to hide it until after the election i suggest.
Will it show mismanagement on a scale never seen before.I hope not but i suspect so.

Ulysses, interesting name to give oneself given his heroism is based on deceit and cunning.

Speaking of, as you seem to know about it all are you able to ask your "friend" a few questions?

Firstly, to what objective is Ulysees consulting RWWA? I thought the group were formed to be independent reps of industry to act on behalf of industry for the purposes of privatization? As in, independent of RWWA. If that is the case why would RWWA CEO need Ulysses to consult, and more to the point, does Premier and government know that RWWA are bankrolling a salary for two "independent" reps to act as RWWA mouthpieces?

And secondly, who are they accountable to? Do industry get fully audited accounts and reports if funding is coming from RWWA? Is there transparency or is it only available to the select few?

And lastly, has this group advised industry that it has instructed government to get on and sell the TAB on behalf of industry? Have agents been advised or consulted? It just seems like full disclosure may not have been forthcoming.

I'll leave the references to PR for another conversation as this was a comment relating to industry, not an individual club. I'll also ignore the reference to my weight and feline features as it does not serve a purpose.

If the next President of the United States,Donald J Trump reads your post Puss Puss i suggest he wont be happy with you denigrating the great Ulysses Grant, former President, Famed soldier and Republican party stalwart.
"Based on deceit and cunning" such disrespect. Someone spike your milk?

You seem to have more than a passing dislike for Michael Grant or why else would you ignore the main point of my last thread.
Just completely brushed over it you did, like a Pinner clone would do.
Not writing your thread at the Chairman's behest are you?
The point i was making is that under the Western Australian By Laws, amended in August 2015.
By Law, 53 The annual report will be available on the website at least 14 days before the Annual General Meeting.
Its not on the website and the AGM is on the 24th October. Today's date is the 14th.
Why isn't it on there? Surely this is a breach of the By-Laws and is there a consequence or a convenient oversight?
Can you shed any light on why this is so puss puss

(You refer to yourself as FAT CAT yet take umbrage at being referred to as the overweight pussy.)

Somewhat Neilish darling  pip pip and a chilled Chardy. The plebs from the suburbs are trying to expose you for non transparency .Tut Tut.Next thing your integrity will be questioned..jolly good cobber. Chocks away old chap. chin chin..bottoms up.toast to the queen.

Yes I definitely stand corrected. Being linked to Donald Trump is much more intelligent than being linked to Greek literature.

No gripe against Grant. Don't really know the guy.
