Can someone explain how Tom Melbourne is not top weight as a 106 rater in the Grandstand Cup?

I also noticed that when looking at the noms, a 106 rater yet gets weight off one at 99 from memory?
I can't explain it at all...

His rating may be a misprint. At his last run in Melbourne he was a rated 100 and beaten soundly. If he drops 2 points from that run, which is usually the case, then he turns up here a 98 rater, therefore getting half a kilo off Tellem we're comin who is a 99 rater.

106 was his rating when he last raced here. I think that's the error.

Racing Australia has Tom Melbourne a 98 rater. His last run in Perth in the 2017 Kingston Town he was a 106 rater.

I might be proven wrong in the end but weight isn't the thing that'll determine if he can win or not- it's what is going on in his head!
