Not sure what he would have gained by handing up the lead. There was nothing else backed in the race.
However I do think the question should have been asked by the stewards given the odds.

Did stewards ask a question or two?

Well surprise surprise leads easily and wins the same way. Do we not give a toss at 1/10 but win a few days later in a race it was set for at double figure odds? Oh yes let us go for the latter.

Those that defended that drive last start can say all you want but Young's drive tonight proves my point even further and frankly it is an insult to your form of racing.

Shane Young is the one having a laugh.

Where are the stewards? No comment last week and probably nothing to say tonight. In my opinion they are all having a lend of both the punter and the industry.

    I’m not saying he’s guilty.
But I am saying he’s not alone if he is.

Hi freo, Are talking about the Wagin race or G.P??

Neither just merely pointing out that there are other examples of this regularly that simply go unquestioned.

Have no problem with what took place. The world knew  Sammys Ideal with his brillant gate speed would cross  But  the problem at 1.10 stewards report should have mentioned Suing  You was heldup until 40 metre  mark..

Last night was unchallenged for the lead. end of story.

Totally agree - and Markhams horse at its previous start ( but from the start in the home straight ) flew the gate - and led from a wide barrier - not easy to do that at Wagin - so it is a very quick beginner

Just my opinion - but the bottom line is - this is a classical case of Gallops punters taking an occasional interest in a trotting race - and as a result have got NFI

So ,You both backed Suing You. .Hi Markovina, I   held a trotting license and drove.. at best was my worst.. and have been in the racing industry since the early 70s.. I have some idea I think..but do appreciate your posts..

Don't know how many meetings Andrew Vlahov has called but was missing the boards his  first  couple races  were woeful from narrogin ---but improved as the night went on---its imartestcle to say this horse won from the breeze--- last friday hoping to repeat the dose. this week--Callers should take it as if there audience is  listening to the  radio.allows them to create a picture where each horse is in the run.

I never worry about when  callers get half a name right, ------because i know the one they mean. but just after the  bell names is what you need to hear.

How ironic D.MAC. just called the fav. by its correct name until the corner Island Charm----then down the straight he called it  Native Chimes as winning

Trying to hard his first couple races was Alex..

Think not being double jabbed may just be an excuse.

Another excellent tipping performance by Hayden King at GP last night.
Selected 6 of the 9 winners and average prices were $3.53, $4.75, $1.85, $1.16, 2.86 and $7.51.with only one unbackable.

As much as $10 was bet about the last winner and a level stake at the average prices would have yielded a profit on turnover of 140%.

Richie chipped in with five winners and a profit of 106% on turnover.

As they say hard to earn with a shovel.

Am I reading the paper right that rwwa are going to close the gates if they get over 1000 people including participants.

Id love to know when and where the $10 was on offer for the winner of the last race

TAB.Com - had the prices  up the previous evening - and both the 9 and 10 horse were both $7 Win and $1.90 place and that was it

Yep, onus on the clubs to manage because over 1000 they will only allow vaccinated people to the venue.

Marko I clicked onto Punters.com odds comparisons straight after Hayden tipped it and there was $10 available with at least two of the corporates.
