    Yep good luck to him as I said got his timing all wrong.
    However if Mitch Robinson doesn’t get overturned after Rioli got off then it may aswell be a free for all.

    Surprised at the Rioli result. 
    But having said that, Johnathan Brown made his legacy out of running full pelt with the flight of the ball and leaving the ground to attempt a mark.
    He didn`t care who was in his way and quite often he was the one with the broken bones.
    Nick Reiwoldt`s famous mark. Could have killed the bloke coming the other way.

    Mitch Robinson should get off. 
    He stopped and braced for contact side on. Dursma`s technique was wrong.
    Should attack the ground ball side on. Don`t go in head first. Duty of care.....to oneself.

    Mitch Robinson argument.
    As we all know the rules are in place to stop contact to the head or protect the head.
    Robinson could have sent Dersma into oblivion, but he chose not too.
    How about saying the rules implemented have worked, no contact to the head, well done everybody let’s move on.
    Instead we hear these garbage arguments about what each player should or shouldn’t have done.

    I was surprised only 20,000 went last week.
    Considering the Eagles have 100,000 members and also the game being a “marquee” match up.
    At the family friendly time of 4.40pm late Sunday afternoon.I’m very surprised at the crowd numbers.
    Perhaps the plane.loads of Suns supporters couldn’t get enough charter planes to come across ?
    If the stadium was opened up fully for the Derby, do you think the Dickers 18,000 members would make up the numbers filling up the empty seats ?

    Dustin Martin absent due to personal reasons. Will probably miss a couple of games.

    After WC get beaten by North Melbourne this week there is a very strong possibility there will be more Freo supporters than WC supporters.
    So yes Det very strong possibility.

    Just watching AFL 360 tonight and was interested to hear Glen Archer telling Robbo that if Rioli got suspended then he would quit watching AFL forever.

    Having watched the replay of the incident many many times, no one has mentioned the other Suns player No 9 coming in to contest the mark also.
    He realised at the last second his teammate was going to get there first, turned his body side on to fend off Willie who was coming in at a 45 degree angle. He glanced Willie with his elbow.
    So maybe Willie decision to elevate was not just about getting the ball ahead of Rowell but also the othe Suns player.

    Jordan Lewis said he would have attacked the ball the same as Willie. Leigh Montagna also said Willie didn’t do anything wrong.
    Focus got turned around onto Rowell for duty of care to himself.
    I am losing respect for Gerard Whately by the episode. Maybe if he had of played any level of AFL he might understand that sometimes s*** happens.

    Thought SPS last week was one of our better ball users when he had it.
    Not sure he is going to be a 25 to 30 possession getter every week obviously 
    Didn’t like the bandage on the knee.
    But……when he cost you guys pick 6 and we got him for pick 52 I reckon we got the better end of the stick. Haha
