Race that close in the 9 deciding states Biden cant afford to lose any support in a protest vote against him .     Jesus Christ , a prison sentence given to Trump on July 11th will heat things up to nuclear levels . Imagine after all his appeals get dismissed over the next 2 years , a sitting President being dragged out of the Whitehouse and hauled off to Rikers Island .

    I've been told, by someone with greater interest in and understanding of US law, that there is nothing in the US constitution to prevent an incarcerated US Citizen from becoming president. Highly unlikely that he will serve time for this anyway but an interesting concept nonetheless.

    Only in America could you get the current scenario , candidates for the highest office in the world who one is clearly way too old and the odds say he will die in office if elected or stand down on health issues AND a convicted felon who has been bankrupted a few times , impeached , openly cheats. But here we are , the Free World looking on to the American people to decide .

    12 people found him guilty. Unanimous

    the defence has as many recusals of jury contenders as the prosecution so hard to imagine all 12 were one eyed democrats, even one said his main news source was Fox.

    Maybe the legal system sometimes gets it right, even in America

    Plenty of legal experts appalled at the handling of this trial. If you can't see how flawed it was there's no hope for you.
     Of course it will get overturned on appeal but that will be after the election. Job done. For the duration of the campaign, Trump will be a convicted felon. That is what the Dems were banking on. 
     The thing is, that's all they've got and I don't think it's going to be enough.

    What experts? Always interested in playing the man and not the ball. If you did your own research you'd be aware of why the trial was worthy of third world show trial status.
    The Dems say Trump is a threat to Democracy. Trying to jail your political opponents is not?
    They paid for the Russian hoax and got their mates to lie about Hunter's laptop. But that's not election interference. Rooting someone and paying them to keep quiet about it is?
