Race 1: Gannon's Racing Colours Handicap (1400m)
A high-quality RTG72+ to start. Antique Star is the class factor here. While she's dropping back from staying trips (winning over 2100m last start), her career place rate of 68% and peak ratings make her the anchor. Platinum Shot is the clear danger; she's hard-fit, racing on a 7-day backup, and only missed by 0.1L last Saturday at Ascot.
Recommended Bet: High (2 Units) – Antique Star ($3.00)
| Selection | Danger |
| Antique Star: Class mare, ultra-consistent 68% place rate. | Platinum Shot: Hard-fit, on-speed, knocking on the door. |
Market Frame (105%):
Antique Star: $2.80 | Platinum Shot: $3.20 | Objectify: $5.50 | Cold Shizzle: $8.50 | Others: $15.00+
Race 2: Tabtouch Westspeed Platinum Handicap (1600m)
A tricky mile where Mangifera looks ready to peak. She’s been in the money at 63% of her career starts and was only outgunned by Forever Dreaming last time. She meets that rival better at the weights today. True Player gets the services of William Pike and is a second-up winner previously, so expect a sharp improvement from the midfield.
Recommended Bet: Medium (1.5 Units) – Mangifera ($3.80)
| Selection | Danger |
| Mangifera: Peak fitness, great tactical speed from the inside. | True Player: The "Pike Factor" and strong 2nd-up history. |
Market Frame (105%):
Mangifera: $3.50 | True Player: $3.90 | Defending: $4.80 | Forever Dreaming: $6.00 | Others: $12.00+
Race 3: Dare To Dream Handicap (1400m)
Rommel’s Goddess has been a model of consistency this prep, placing in her last four starts. She sits on the pace and dares them to get past her—a classic on-speed profile for this track. On Patrol is the threat; he produced a "barnstorming" finish last start but often leaves himself too much to do.
Recommended Bet: High (2 Units) – Rommel’s Goddess ($4.00)
| Selection | Danger |
| Rommel’s Goddess: On-speed map, hard to get past. | On Patrol: Huge motor, but needs luck from the back. |
Market Frame (105%):
Rommel’s Goddess: $3.80 | On Patrol: $4.50 | Monte Tremezzo: $7.00 | King Hit: $9.00 | Others: $12.00+
Race 4: Duncan Equine Group Handicap (2000m)
Late Arrival has placed in 72% of his starts—he is essentially a guaranteed check-getter in this grade. He’s fit, well-weighted, and handles the 2000m trip. Audio Boy is the value saver; he’s been eye-catching in his last few runs at Ascot, flying home late over 2200m.
Recommended Bet: Medium (1.5 Units) – Late Arrival ($9.00)
Bomb: More Heroic ($17.00) – Raced wide last start, significant upside with a better trip.
| Selection | Danger |
| Late Arrival: The "steady Eddie" of the field. | Audio Boy: Strong sectional star in his last two. |
Market Frame (105%):
Audio Boy: $3.50 | All Grunt: $4.00 | Late Arrival: $7.50 | Warralea Lass: $8.00 | Others: $15.0+
Race 5: Geisel Park Stud Handicap (1600m)
Oisin is another model of consistency (60% career place rate) and chased hard over 1800m last start. Dropping to 1600m looks like the winning move. Shazair is the main danger; she’s a determined winner when she can sit close to the lead, and from barrier 4, she’ll be right in the firing line.
Recommended Bet: High (2 Units) – Oisin ($3.60)
| Selection | Danger |
| Oisin: Hard-fit, peak ratings, handles all conditions. | Shazair: Tactically versatile and loves a scrap. |
Market Frame (105%):
Oisin: $3.30 | Shazair: $3.60 | Shamilian Miss: $4.50 | Manzor Magic: $8.00 | Others: $15.0+

Race 6: Platinum Fillies & Mares Classic (1200m)
Galway Shawl is the stat-king of the day—4 wins from 5 starts. You don’t need a degree in nuclear physics to see she’s a winner. Supernatural is the class "dropper." She’s been contesting Listed races and if she brings that metropolitan quality, she’ll be the one Galway Shawl has to hold off.
Recommended Bet: Best Bet (3 Units) – Galway Shawl ($3.70)
Market Frame (105%):
Galway Shawl: $3.20 | Supernatural: $3.60 | Golden Vale: $6.00 | Rissoles: $10.00 | Others: $18.0+
Race 7: Magic Millions WA 2YO Classic (1200m)
Two-year-old features are often about who handles the occasion. Maria Lucia was dominant on debut, winning by 2 lengths after pouncing on the lead at Ascot. She’s the one to beat. Daryte is theAndrews/Parnham specialist—excellent ride last start and will be the one stalking the favorite.
Recommended Bet: High (2 Units) – Maria Lucia ($2.50)
Market Frame (105%):
Maria Lucia: $2.40 | They’reallsisters: $3.50 | Daryte: $4.50 | Others: $15.0+
Race 8: Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy (1200m)
Twisted Steel comes off a very professional win over 1100m. He’s second-up here, a stage where he has performed well, and he’s versatile enough to sit anywhere in the run. Heeza Phoenix is the class horse (RTG 80) but he needs to settle better than he did last start.
Recommended Bet: Medium (1.5 Units) – Twisted Steel ($2.50)
Bomb: The Nun ($19.00) – 100% career place record; massive odds for a horse that hasn't missed the podium.
Market Frame (105%):
Twisted Steel: $2.60 | Heeza Phoenix: $4.20 | Mardusa: $6.00 | The Nun: $12.00 | Others: $20.0+
Race 9: Pinjarra Classic Handicap (1300m)
A wide-open finale. Miss Finkmeyer is my play. She’s a 71% career place-getter who just missed for second in a 3YO OMWLY last start. She’s tough and honest. Queen Aria is the danger; she was brilliant storming home for second last start and the long Pinjarra straight will suit her perfectly.
Recommended Bet: Bet (1 Unit) – Miss Finkmeyer ($5.00)
Market Frame (105%):
Queen Aria: $4.20 | Miss Finkmeyer: $4.80 | Written Words: $6.00 | The Scholar: $7.00 | Others: $10.0+

Here’s my donations for the afternoon only a few thank goodness.
Race 2 - back again gone e/w The Spruiker yesterday was $15 today into $9 they’re as silly as me. About the only runner of Steve Wolfe’s that’s not winning lately he’s been in terrific form especially in the great southern. One more chance to at least run a drum.
And in conjunction with AI above got to have a bomb selection - two bombs today both 33/1 and better Royal Gap in the same race - he’s a battler, a one paced grinder, fingers crossed for him to run top 3.
Later on in the day first run back gone e/w Hard Solo for the Ash Maley stable too.
