Twas a great run by the Douglas and a super ride by Steack. Seems to be favouring the on pacers.

ONTW was awful. I suppose one has to forgive it a little, as nothing seems to be making ground out wide but ...

Makes the last two races interesting.

I'm really liking Megatic, Classy Nugget can run on the pace so meh!

Haven't bet all day. Wasn't sure how the track would play and really didn't get much time this week to do form.

So obviously I am in much better shape than I would be at this time most Saturdays!

I'll have a little each way on Amianan. Doesn't mind the sting out from what I can see and I really don't like anything in the race. Might as well chase the big odds.

Well done Chloe. Didn't think it could lead that field. Poor judgement again by me.

What really frustrates me though is leaving Storm Closure out of the novs. Just can't get that horse.

Join the club, I had it for fourth :(

I thought it would lead, especially after comments from the trainer, saying it will try to lead at all costs, if allowed.......

Massive quaddie, paid more than 3 times what an all up would have paid ($628)

Im spewin Gondorff knocked off Black Douglas - could have been a bumper quaddie

Megatic was very disappointing, gave a whimper, then gave up. Stewards report says that he will be given a month off after pulling up lame in the near hind. Should imagine this is going to have a huge impact on his Summer aspirations.

Also the "expert" selections, 1 out of 8. Obviously now working on the dart throwing method against the form guide stuck to the wall method.

How did Wes go out of the yard ? I only heard his description of Gondorff, which arrived in time after looking lost in the run.

Just watched the Box Seat Show from earlier today as I missed it this morning.

I couldn't believe it when I heard them throw out the tip about buying a block of land in the Ascot Vale Estate. Big smiles all round.

Just a different slant on the races. Esperance trainer Helen Harding headed to Perth for a week, didn't win a race but went home with $17,000 in stakemoney over 3 meetings, from 5 starters and 2 doubleing up in the week. Shame our bloke didn't join in the cash collecting, but going like a broken wheel at the moment. Then it was load the truck 9 hours back to Esperance tonight, then off to Kalgoorlie for races tomorrow. You gotta love what your doing to put in that effort.

I selected 4 out of 8 today, and had a profitable day in the tipping comp!

2 out of 3 for the birthday girl is a great strike rate!

Chatfield at $9 (in the jockey challenge) with only 3 rides wouldn't have had much support, but I felt every ride she had was a very good winning chance - stupid me for letting the three rides scare me off backing her!

That is a huge day Lucky. I know the folks who own Late Night Flight, they bought it from a dispersal sale for I think $800, now won $152,000

Very dedicated. I hope she was sharing the driving. What is the driving time from Esperance to Kal ?

Yes, good on them - think they'll be glad it didn't get sold now!

Darren McAullay also picked four winners today, the same four as myself - was a tough day at the office for the PR.com crew. Only one of them selected 2 winners and that was Josh Rodder with Centrum and Gondorff!
