    I got burnt by Five Degrees in the first at its first race start. Will be backing it again first up today.

    Best tip I can give apart from the usual - be good to your mother, tip the pizza delivery man and always apply your handbrake on a hill... Would be in Melbourbe race 3 Sleek Acheeva.
    Beaten by a real smart one on debut, tread carefully as its a maiden but if it repeats it's last run it should win

    Bit early to tell but we might be looking for leaders today or atleast on pace runners as nothing except the second horse made any ground in race 1

    I think it was more because they all have 0 ability and just couldn't run on!

    Same pattern after the second race, the winner had the drop on them and won softly.
    If Abdicator had of settled in front of Laufey I have no doubt the result would have been different

    Frenchy had other plans. One of the worst rides I have seen in a long time. Slow out and had it's ears ridden off to hold out Chancery resulting in a break neck speed. Why not just take a sit on it knowing it's a 100/1 shot and that you'll get a clear run in the straight. Do these guys do any form before they sit on a horse?
