Looking forward to Better Than Ever returning on Sunday, first-up over 1400 since November's blot on the record.
Always Certain to view his backside again.

Tonight backing up again on Fortune Eight over 9 furlong, think its finally clicked...
Also keen Jamal Malik in the second last

Terrific ride from a Melbourne Cup winning jock to get the favourite over the line then...

Right, if we ever meet I owe you a pint.
Had this notion that he rode Rogan Josh in 99 for Bart - quick phone call told me it was John Marshall of course.

    Still a good ride though.
Guess this means I cant bag our pre-eminant for Prospective/Big Hold Up however...

Think Powell is the best rider there, Moreira cant be counted, he is in a league of his own

Spot on Razor. Just follow Moreira and be sensible about it and you cannot go wrong. Been punting on Singapore for years and the way the horses run for him is freakish. Powell is a great tactician but not easy to read when he is going to be 100%, if you know what I mean. He is on one tomorrow that in my ratings will s..t in LAGO BAY.

I backed something Moreira rode last night, it ran 3rd but if anyone else rode it would have run 5th.

Powell is very good at the other too

When Merchant challenged it found another gear, and hit the line like good horses do. The 2nd horse was impressive, its earlier wins were mostly over 1200m, like to see it back over the sprint trip

They're the two currently aren't they. Duric & Vorster are the other most consistent at the moment for mine.

Bookends for me at this stage - Art of Speed & Silveron Wings to crack an overdue win, Vorster back on.

Mr Raffles finally bought up a win this prep after that monster trial performance, but want to be on Flying West to turn the tables with the weight swing here.

Didnt think our old mate Saimee was going to persist for that run, but it hit the line fairly strongly once it was out.
Didnt it shorten late, they love a favourite when Saimee's on - took best tote, should've been on fixed

No bet the 2200. Declare the hand as follows:

R6 Fantastic Jaw - most consistent, drops 1.5, ready to win
R8 Flying West - favourable weight turnaround on Mr Raffles
R9 Urban Dancer - 2nd up after solid 2nd to Affirmation
R10 Silveron Wings xx Short but solid, Vorster back on out of the same formline as above

    GO THE JAW!

    Correct, Paula Wagg had it.
Short again the winner, they're not giving us much are they?
Winner was out of Boardwalk Angel, for those that know their breeding...
