I have to say I have seen the different trends in whip use for over 50 years and although the spectacle of windmill use looks the part it is not the difference between winning or losing, more often than not it is a detriment to performance.

Either use the whip or ban it. I can give reasons for both, but to lengthy for here. As for me as stated I'm a each way bet.

Trying to administer anything orally to a horse is a uphill battle at the best of times. trying to do it on the sly is near on impossible.
