Master of Design went back over east after racing in perth and won a g1. I think he now stands at stud over there too.

pegasus park places

Apart from the stallion he's by, what was so appealing about the horse to send a mare to him? Did I miss something? Dam side of the family is average and race track performance is average.

was a grain silo which was contaminated

Do any owners/trainers use water waters for pre training in WA?
-
I also have the same problem

Thanks lads, It was a nice way to kick off the day. I'll sit back and watch my all up throughout the day and hope I have some luck there to. Rose of Choice was my other hope today, down in weight after no luck at all last start. Goodluck everyone

lightning run in the first should improve on its first run where it had no luck. 26's is overs imo

Damien, If this poorly bred(by pedigree) yearling turns out to be the most magnificent looking animal that you've laid your eyes on will you still refuse to bid on him?

Jackaroo should be ready for this trip now and will get home ok if there is some pace on

Interesting to see that Yaloginda stays on the same rating after winning at pinny yesterday. Does this happen often?

Depends on what sort of agistment you are looking for and whether your horse is a good doer of not. I agist for people with different needs and find many horses do well on pasture alone where others need something extra. Also has a lot to do with th…

I agree, most trainers that i've talked to use 10 weeks as a guide to trials but there are a few trainers that get them to trials/races much quicker with good results. not sure if this is good for the horse but they seem to be pretty sound at this s…

On a different note, how long would you expect a trainer take to get a horse from the paddock to raceday at the beginning of a prep, assuming that there were no setbacks. Lets say the horse has had a decent 10 week spell.

So having a horse primed for the Railway then having it scratched for no "logical" reason when its one of the few suitable races in WA throughout the racing season that Ranger is suited to isn't a serious penalty and to then be fined 3k to boot. …

I believe that the stewards have a lot to answer for in this situation. Not just perth stewards but all over the country(melbourne cup debarcle etc) If they clamped down on this type of behaviour and issued decent penalties then trainers/staff would…

That gray is unreal! Need to watch a replay when I sober up. Who's Mr moet?? =)) mr moet gained weight this year...everyone was talking mr moet was the superior WA horse after there melbourne preps, the gray is unlucky not to have 3 railways aga…

I think he would do himself better by doing that Buddy23, rather than sitting on the speed and looking alot more out of place! Id much rather see him flashing down the outside than dropping out before the turn Yes i agree that is how he must be rid…

LG is capable of doing better over east but as to mixing it with the genuine G! horses over east he will get found wanting again and again. He is rated upto the best of them now and to compete over there you need to be able to kick off a hot speed. …

It's nonsense. I understand the ratings basis, but how on earth does a horse like Vermeer or Pin Rouge, in general a Saturday horse - but also a winner of a listed provincial race, get OOE preference over a Derby and dual LR 3yo winner. Nothing ag…

His mother is by Redoutes Choice and out of Sunline. How often does it happen that a champion mare is a flop as a broodmare but her kids come good. Beautiful "colonial" breeding. Are you sure, zoustars mum is meteor mist out of sunbuster

Interesting article. See link below. http://www.racenet.com.au/news/94365/Dunlop---%27Many-better%27-than-Dandino-in-Melbourne-Cup They said that media puzzle didn't hold a candle to vinnie roe either and he beat him hands down twice. In saying …
