Priddis and Masten missing that really hurts especially with McGinnity (the turnover merchant the likely replacement) so that make it really tough but not impossible although it's going to take a mighty, mighty, effort from the Eagles.
Still Selwood might be back in form at the right time he was very good for East Perth on the weekend, if ever we need Scotty to find his form it's now.
Pendulum has definitely swung back towards the Hawks now.
If the Eagles win this week they will have well and truly earned it, Hawks probably win now. How many bloody injuries can one team continually incur, we haven't copped a break from injuries to key players all bloody year. Still a chance but boy it's a difficult task now.

An under manned Sydney wins unless Freo find something resembling their early season form which I doubt they can, I expect them to improve and improve significantly but they have to improve enormously to have a significant impact on the finals.
Expects the Dogs to win and Richmond will win .

AC you flog.. Injuries will not lose the game for the Weagles!!! the one or two players that come in just have to play the game as they all know how. They have been the second best team all year, and based on that they should beat Hawthorn. With or without whoever.
Its flogs like you that give Weagles supporters a bad name...always reckon we're champions and always got an excuse when we don't win.

Tonight we should win, if we don't Hawthorn were better than us!!!!!

    AFL website:

    10:37am: DOUBTS ABOUT PRIDDIS

West Coast could be dealt a huge blow with footy circles awash with rumours Brownlow Medallist Matt Priddis will miss tonight's crunch qualifying final against Hawthorn.

The ball-magnet is believed to have succumbed to a thigh injury.

Priddis was set to enter the finals on the back of a stellar season, where he has averaged 30 disposals per game.

Adding to the intrigued, AFL.com.au understands emergency Patrick McGinnity did not train with WAFL club East Perth on Thursday.

Why is it Andrew the the Eagles overcome adversity ? Why can't they just have a playing roster that small changes occur to from time to time, yet they like all the other AFL clubs overcome ? Nothing special about these injuries, Fremantle have had just as many key players out in the last month but none of your **** rhetoric when you make comment about them ? hawthorn have outs, just like Sydney do.

Pretty sure all week the comments have been Sydney are up against it with their outs. Any team that loses key players leading into a final that will be the discussion, not sure how Priddis being out makes West Coasts job harder is any different. And not sure Hawks have too many real key players out.

Howe, Sicily and Litherland as being left out of the team. Rioli, Breust and Hodge come back in.

What makes me laugh about this weekend, is that 6 weeks ago I got laughed at on here by all you experts, when I said Ross would rotate out several leading players as the season was over and done. The Dockers win tomorrow and they get another 2 weeks off and will meet a team who has been put through a much tougher time. Things have worked out pretty well.

That will be devastating for Hawthorn losing Howe Sicily and Litherland and having to replace them with Rioli Bruest and Hodge. Thats just awful. Hope they can recover from that.

Got my crystal ball out to predict the likely post match response from our resident genius tipster.
    Either:
As I've been saying for eons to anyone one of you morons with a microgram of white matter between your ears, we were always going to beat Hawthorn in spite of that bumbling error ridden dockers plant McGinnity playing and, as I correctly predicted, we are a good chance, in spite of the longest injury list since the martyrs took on the Lions in the Colosseum, to, if we play to our very best, and if that clown McGinnity doesn't play, to beat _______ (insert) in the Prelim in Perth in a fortnight. Naturally, I put my money where my mouth is and am fingering a very handsome five figure result in my pocket which only rub salts in to all your jealous wounds thus confirming my god given ability to always win.
    Or:
Well surprise, surprise morons, injuries finally got us and have generally cruelled our season, as I correctly predicted. With over half of our defense sidelined with life threatening injuries and with that liability McGinnity continuously missing targets on the odd occasion a ball fell into his lap, we were always going to be up against it Don't say I didn't tell you.
