Didn't think it was that good a ride in the Railway - 15th on the turn from a middle barrier (9) - arguably should have won. Unfortunately JT riding at 2% in city this season and has not had any success from his previous rides on the horse. Wasn't his ride either. Jumped on in the Rwy after Pike got off. Too much money at stake not to go for the best available option.

it wasn't only sean, stg, jake and jarrod ignored young jordan..not a good look at all. no way can we blame it on the excitement of the moment.
I was told that Jordan was sacked off Dom To Shoot following his ride on Laverrod in the Winterbottom.
I struggle to understand that as his position in the run was heavily dictated by the race and, in essence, he didn't do anything wrong.
It would be interesting to find out the truth. I hope Wally didn't sack him because of teh ride on Laverrod.

May have been a combination of the two rides.

have a look at the replays from the 80's..no whip rules then. no harm to the horses...

I have to disagree. I witnessed horses post race with welts and cuts.

We all know Falcon is a dinosaur.  Thinks you can disparage women because “it’s a well known saying”. No surprise he has no issues with horses returning to scale as you describe.

Wtf! Where did that come from Precision? I don't know Falcon but it's the personal attacks on this forum that have put many people off contributing and made it a shell of what it used to be.

And unfortunately the moderators, or lack of moderators, on this forum have contributed to its demise by allowing it to go on.

    why mention Jordan?
he's ridden it once in the last 12 starts and 4 times in its 40 start career and he's never won on it. He's hardly the regular jock.

I dont get what you're on about?

It wasn't my intention to name jockeys though one retired jockey (praised on this forum a few times previously) sprung to mind immediately I read Falcon's dismissal of the fact. It certainly occurred and was witnessed on numerous occasions post race at the on course stables

Absolutely ....Cherry, Kemp and all the vigorous whip riders could bring out the welt marks....never saw any cuts from the whip but a few rake marks from the old type of spurs would often be visible on the return to scale.

Correct STG. Wonder dancer beat Brooklyn Dodger the year before ridden by the enforcer as well. It also went home looking for some linament that night as well
